This is one image from a series being used by international asset management group Investec, for use in a range of print media adverts.
I was asked to photograph Jaime Velez, Director of Design at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill for the cover of IIDA magazine. Jaime was sharing his views on shaping and shifting perspectives.
Logistically the shoot was quite difficult, utilising the top floors of The Broadgate Tower in The City of London. Here is one of my favourites, alongside some of the contacts and a behind-the-scenes image.
Here are some images I took of co-founder and CEO of ad tech company Unruly, Sarah Wood, this year named as one of the 500 most influential people in Britain. Sarah was speaking to Director magazine about creating dynamic content, retaining more women in technology and differentiating yourself in the market. All shots were taken at Motel studios in East London.
Here are some images of surfers which I took for a personal project in Pacifica beach, California. We headed out there early in the morning, on a weekday, to make sure we caught the real enthusiasts. Everyone was really laid back and willing to pose. We scrimmed the light and shot in the surf using the shallow water as a bounce.
A series of personal portraits shot of passers by on the streets of ‘The Mission’, a neighbourhood in San Francisco. The area has become home to the left leaning dot com generation – displacing the original Latino residents. It’s full of cafes, shops and art galleries which play host to a very eclectic mix of people.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the work I’m doing with Stand Up To Cancer, an initiative launched by Channel 4 and Cancer Research to help raise funds for research and ground-breaking clinical trials in the battle against cancer. The main campaign will run later on this year across various platforms; lots of great people involved, including Edith Bowman and Ore Oduba as featured here.
